Update finally!
I was originally planning this update to be released shortly after the Jam was over. I was working on the extra content right after submitting the game in the first place. However, some issues got in the way and then my computer died (I'm back up and running though!) and so it took a lot longer to get done than I was expecting.
This isn't a huge update as the game was only meant to be fairly small scale anyway, though if there was enough demand for it I might revisit this idea in the future. I did however add a high scores list so that you can keep track of that and maybe compete among your group of friends as well as a couple of small changes to hopefully improve gameplay.
Full list of changes:
- Additions:
- High scores list! - This includes different lists for each difficulty and the ability to save your scores under a 3 letter name in a retro arcade kinda way. You can also clear this list if you did wish to restart the competition for whatever reason of course.

- Changes:
- Cat behaviour - The cats now no longer persistently try to run somewhere immediately after you place them. This was originally a bug that I left in because it felt very 'cat like' to keep trying to run to a location if you pick them up while they're moving. It was however pretty frustrating so I decided to change that hoping it would improve the experience.
- Other:
- Secret! - I definitely did not add any form of small easter egg to this game...
If you didn't follow during the course of the Jam, this game actually placed fairly high which I am really happy about! This wouldn't have been possible without people taking the time to play and rate the game of course so thank you, even if you weren't following at the time. I am really trying to engage more with my audience and so any comments or support are incredibly appreciated and I will always try to get back to you as soon as possible, whether it is for bug fixes or just thanks for kind comments. There is also the option of adding a tip when getting the game, it is not required but will be greatly appreciated if you decide to support me!
